Penn State Departmental Web Space

On July 28, 2023, the Departmental web server will be retired as a service. This change aligns with the retirement of the PASS service upon which it depends to store web content.

ACTION: Please migrate your data to another platform before July 28. You can review the recommended options to replace PASS-based web hosting features on Choosing Your PASS Alternative.

Departmental web space may be reached using two URLs:

• https://www.psu.edu/dept/[department-space]
• https://www.dept.psu.edu/[department-space]

where [department-space] might be something like armyrotc or agsciences. Some spaces redirect to other platforms, like sites.psu.edu.

The latter URL is behind WebAccess while the former is not. At some point in the near future, WebAccess will be removed from https://www.dept.psu.edu and https://www.psu.edu/dept/ will simply redirect to it.
